Our vision is to manage your financial journey as if it were our own, providing clarity and direction. So we can provide each client with the right advice, we have developed a personal approach to financial planning which includes a discovery meeting designed to identify your future goals so that they can be supported by a long-term financial plan which will meet needs now and in the future.

Our first meeting

How often do we sit down and think about our ambitions? Our first face-to-face exploratory meeting will explore what is important to you and establish what kind of lifestyle you would like to lead now and in the future. We will help you prioritise your goals and offer you some preliminary planning recommendations which can provide the basis for your financial plan.

Agreeing your financial plan

Following our initial meeting, we will show you how your current/future income and expenditure can be used to map out your financial future and manage your cashflow. As independent financial advisers, we do not limit our choice, but will research the whole marketplace so we can make recommendations that we believe are suitable for your needs and which fit in with a tailored financial plan. We will outline a range of options in a follow-up report to you.

Clear recommendations

Our follow-up report takes the form of a straightforward discussion document presented in simple language, allowing us to present our recommendations. Your feedback is important to us and we encourage you to reflect on the recommendations so that you feel comfortable with the proposed financial plan. Our report also contains details about our flexible charging structure should you proceed with our recommendations.

Your financial peace of mind

Once you are satisfied with our recommendations our administration team will undertake any necessary paperwork to setup your financial plan. This may include making applications, submitting supporting documentation and liaising with providers to ensure that you plan is setup in the correct manner.

Our ongoing commitment

Life has a habit of changing your priorities! This can sometimes affect your financial situation. We will ensure that your financial plan is reviewed regularly with updates to your cashflow planning to manage any unforeseen circumstances and ensure that you continue to stay on track financially to continue living your chosen lifestyle now and in retirement.

Charges

We pride ourselves on our independence and this is reflected in our transparent charging structure. As we are not tied to any financial provider, we are not biased towards any individual products or companies. Our charges are tailored according to each client’s personal circumstances and is explained to you upfront before you commit to any investments.  We never charge for our initial consultation with you and our recommendations are fully costed upfront within the follow-up report that you receive, following your meeting. Our charging structure is as follows:

Initial Advice Fee

This is an agreed setup fee to cover:

• Presenting initial advice based on independent research
• Preparing a financial plan based on your goals and objectives
• Managing the setup of any investments based on our recommendations.

On-going Fee

This is a monthly charge to cover: 

• Ongoing management of your portfolio in line with your financial objectives
• Changing funds within your portfolio where necessary
• Regular reports and portfolio valuations
• Regular updates on market issues that may affect your investments 

Both these fees can be paid directly or from within an investment.

We always endeavour to give the best possible service to our clients. If you feel dissatisfied with the level of service offered by Absolute Wealth Management, we would encourage you, in the first instance, to talk through your concerns with your adviser, to see if we can resolve your complaint quickly.  You can contact us on 0117 907 1965 to discuss your issue further.

If you are not happy with this outcome, then you can refer your complaint in writing to the Financial Ombudsmen Service, The Financial Ombudsman Service is available to sort out individual complaints that clients and financial services businesses aren't able to resolve themselves.
