Our vision is to manage clients' financial portfolios as if they were our own, providing clarity and direction. So we can provide each client with the right advise, we have developed a unique personal approach to financial planning which includes a series of discovery meetings.

Our process is designed to understand you and explore your financial goals so we can provide you with the right advise, giving you financial clarity to allow you to live the life you want.

Our initial meeting

Navigating modern life and making the right choices frequently these days is done digitally, but we believe there are still some things in life that are best done face to face. As part of our approach to financial planning, we will arrange an initial, no obligation meeting with one of our advisers at our offices in Westbury Park. We appreciate there are many reasons why you may want financial clarity in your life, so by meeting you we can learn more about your unique circumstances and your specific financial goals.

Researching your financial goals

Following our initial meeting, we devote time to researching and identifying how we can help you with your financial future. As independent financial advisers, we do not limit our choice, but will research the marketplace so we can recommend products and investments we believe are suitable for your needs and which fit in with a tailored financial plan. We will outline a range of options in a follow-up report to you.

Clear recommendations

Our follow-up report takes the form of a straightforward discussion document presented in simple language, allowing us to present our recommendations. Your feedback is important to us and we encourage you to reflect on the recommendations so that you feel comfortable with the proposed financial plan. Our report also contains details about our fees and any ongoing charges you may incur should you proceed with our recommendations.

Financial peace of mind

Once you are satisfied with our recommendations our administration team will undertake any necessary paperwork to setup your financial plan. This may include making applications, submitting supporting documentation and liaising with providers to ensure that you plan is setup in the correct manner.

Our ongoing commitment

We ensure that your financial plan is reviewed regularly, since your financial goals may change or there may be amendments to financial legislation. Whatever the reason for change, we will also discuss and review the best options available so that you can make an informed decision and reach your long-term financial goals.

Charges

We pride ourselves on our independence and this is reflected in our transparent charging structure. As we are not tied to any financial provider, we are not biased towards any individual products or companies. Our charges are tailored according to each client’s personal circumstances and is explained to you upfront before you commit to any investments. 

We never charge for our initial consultation with you and our recommendations are fully costed upfront within the follow-up report that you receive, following your meeting.

Our charging structure is as follows:

 

Initial Advice Fee

This is an agreed fee to cover:

• Presenting initial advice based on independent research
• Preparing a financial plan based on your goals and objectives
• Managing the setup of any investments based on our recommendations

This fee can be paid directly or from within an investment. 

 

On-going Fee

This is a monthly charge to cover: 

• Ongoing management of your portfolio in line with your financial objectives
• Changing funds within your portfolio where necessary
• Regular reports and portfolio valuations
• Regular updates on market issues that may affect your investments 

This can be paid directly or from within an investment.

How to make a complaint

We always endeavour to give the best possible service to our clients. If you feel dissatisfied with the level of service offered by Absolute Wealth Management, we would encourage you, in the first instance, to talk through your concerns with your adviser, to see if we can resolve your complaint quickly.  You can contact us on 0117 907 1965 to discuss your issue further.

If you are not happy with this outcome, then you can refer your complaint in writing to the Financial Ombudsmen Service, The Financial Ombudsman Service is available to sort out individual complaints that clients and financial services businesses aren't able to resolve themselves.
